I concentrate on Abstract and Abstract Figurative Art. My paintings often take on their own lives and seem to paint themselves as I explore the interaction between texture, brush work, color, the human figure, digital elements and other forms. The application of the paint itself can often be the focus of a painting. In my figurative work, I strive to create paintings that at first glance exhibit a multi depth abstract painting that can stand on its own. While looking closer finding a figure or multiple figures intertwined with the expressive brush strokes and blocks of color to finish the painting giving it multiple dimensions.
